Ethiopian Fare

I've been enjoying exploring the recipes in my new copy of Appetite for Reduction, Isa Chandra Moscowitz's new cookbook.  One of my favorite recipes so far is Mushroom Tibs, a spicy mushroom dish.

It is coated with a interesting combination of saut�ed garlic, onions, ginger, plus curry, paprika, cumin, thyme, cloves and more!  Excellent dish.

As suggested in cookbook, I paired it with 2 other Ethiopian dishes, Ye'abesha Gomen (saut�ed and braised collard greens) and Ethiopian Millet (which contains tomatoes, onion, ginger and spices).

The collards are tender and delicious and the Mushroom Tibs and millet work beautifully with it.
